Week 7, Thing 16: Myspace

Well, I have had a Myspace account for many years now. I use it frequently and sometimes I hardly use it at all. It is an easy, social website to use and I have reunited with many high school classmates that have found me using this website as a search strategy. It's quite nice because if you are one who has trouble keeping up with all your old buddies, you can just visit their page, read their blogs to update yourself and drop them a comment or two to let them know you thought about them that day. Great way to keep in touch and let someone know you are thinking about them.

It's a great meeting place too. I met my current boyfriend from myspace and also have met some other people that are great friends now from there too.

It's nice because it lets you personalize it and express yourself to show your personality, favorite subjects or hobbies by customizing the page, music and pictures. It a great site overall.

I don't wish to post my page on here or make a new on just for work, but if you are dying to be my friend and know who I am, then send me an email or just find me yourself on myspace! See you there!

Ha ha ha...your blog didn't make it onto the list of Blogs for Thing 29. So I am "commenting" on your blog anyways.

I must do this for Thing 29.

You have been mauled by Enkidu!!

Not everyone's blog is listed because I just have not had time. When you run into problems, please let me know. There are 227 people participating in this program. It is really hard for me to keep up with everyone's blog, even with RSS.

Hey, I like to give my friends a hard time. This was a comment to "Memory of Thoughts" since I know the person and the person knows me well. It's not a comment on the Web 2.0 crap and it was not a comment on the Virtual Librarian's site either. It's like when you come in to work and you see that they forgot to add you to the schedule so you joke about that OR that they have added someone in two places at once.

If I really wanted to complain, then I'd complain about things like the fact it is so frigging hot in the library (due to the new temperature mandate) that the "love your library" chocolates are melting. And if one more customer tells me it is hot in here, I am going to evaporate into steam.

Anyways...I need to get back to destroying the Sci/Fi section over here.
